미국 하우스생활을 하면서 잔디관리를 직접해보자고 생각했다

내가 1~2년 단기간 살려면 당연히 모르고 살아도 될 일이지만

Prevent Weeds with Ideal Mowing Height Ranges

Step 1

• Mow your grass when it needs it; one-third above the ideal cutting height.
• Pro Tip: If you don’t know your grass type, take a plug of turf to a garden center and ask the staff to help with the identification.

월/단계별 잔디 잡초 관리 방법

Treatment # 1

- (Jan/Feb) Round 1 Pre-emergent weed control for warm season weeds. This application is preventing a variety of warm season weeds from germinating.

따듯한 계절 잡초를 사전에 방제하는 작업.

Treatment # 2

- (Feb-Mar) Round 2 Pre-emergent weed control for warm season weeds. This application is preventing a variety of warm season weeds from germinating and must be applied prior to ground reaching 55 degrees.

따뜻한 계절의 잡초가 발아하는 것을 방지하며 지면이 화씨55도에 도달하기 전에 살포해야 합니다. Pre-emergent를 하는 것에 초점을 두어야한다.

Treatment # 3

- (April - May) Fast Release fertilizer. This fertilizer has a heavy nitrogen content and is meant to get your lawn green fast.

Fast Release fertilizer 비료는 질소 함량이 높으며 잔디밭을 빠르게 녹색으로 만들기 위한 것입니다.

4월은 비료시즌이라서 홈디포에서 행사를 많이 한다. 비료를 사면 1+1이라든지

- (Jun - Jul) Slow release fertilizer. This fertilizer has a special time release coating that slowly releases into your lawn over the course of the growing season.

Slow release fertilizer 비료에는 성장기 동안 천천히 잔디밭으로 방출되는 특별한 시간 방출 코팅이 있습니다.

Treatment # 5

- (Aug/Sep) Post emergent weed control for warm season weeds. We will treat any weeds that are in the lawn at this time.

출현 후 잡초 방제. 이 시간에 잔디밭에 있는 모든 잡초를 처리할 것입니다.

Treatment # 6

- (Oct/Nov) Pre-emergent weed control for cool season weeds. This application is preventing a variety of cool season weeds from germinating.
